CFCCA is delighted to present Semblance, an exhibition of new work by sixteen final year Contemporary Photography BA (Hons) students from Stockport College. The artists' explore varied approaches to the medium of photography, producing a diverse collection of both still and moving images, focusing on the unfamiliar, unseen and the uncanny. Using both contemporary and historical photographic techniques, the exhibition includes a combination of printed media, installation, screen-based imagery and projection. Each of the sixteen artists has addressed their own interests and concerns, finding common themes in identity, time and memory. Semblance showcases new and emerging talent within the region and is the fourth consecutive degree show that CFCCA has hosted for the course.
