This year, fifty-five artists join the roster of Bloomberg New Contemporaries, which includes previous exhibitors Jake & Dinos Chapman, Tacita Dean, Mona Hatoum, Damien Hirst, David Hockney and Mike Nelson. Marking its 65th anniversary, selectors Marvin Gaye Chetwynd, Enrico David and Goshka Macuga have chosen works by the most promising artists emerging from UK art schools from nearly 1,400 submissions.

An integral part of Liverpool Biennial since it began, this year’s show launches at World Museum, from 20 September to 26 October 2014 before touring to ICA, London from 26 November 2014 to 25 January 2015.

Showcasing final year students, graduates and artists one year out of study, the annual national touring exhibition has consistently acted as a barometer of contemporary art practice, shining a spotlight on the hottest talents of the year.
