Nasasjón // Various Artists24. May - 5. Jul 14 / ended Peacock Visual Arts
Tues – Sat 9:30 – 5:30pm
Nasasjón brings together the work of six Icelandic artists: Ingólfur Arnarsson, Ívar Valgarðsson, Kristinn G. Harðarson, Ráðhildur Ingadóttir, Sólveig Aðalsteinsdóttir and Tumi Magnússon.
The word Nasasjón literally means “nose-sight” – having a faint notion of something.
All the artists were born between 1954 and 1959, and so this exhibition intends to give a glimpse into the art of this particular generation of Icelandic artists.
The exhibition extends from work that was originally curated for Gallery Olschewski & Behm in Frankfurt.
