About

ICA Executive Director Gregor Muir is joined by Louisa Buck, Toby Mott and Charlie Porter to consider the paintings, drawings and poetry of London artist David Robilliard (1952 - 1988). This event marks the launch of new ICA publication David Robilliard: The Yes No Quality of Dreams, featuring a newly-commissioned essay by Andrew Wilson, Curator of Modern & Contemporary British Art at Tate Britain.

Louisa Buck is a critic and contemporary art correspondent for The Art Newspaper. She was also a jurist for the 2005 Turner Prize, awarded to Simon Starling's Shedboatshed.

British artist and curator Toby Mott is known for his work with the Grey Organisation, an artists' collective that was active in the 1980s, and for his fashion brand Toby Shop. More recently he has won acclaim for the Mott Collection, an archive of UK Punk Rock and political ephemera which has been widely exhibited.

Writer and blogger Charlie Porter is Men's Fashion Critic for the Financial Times. He studied philosophy at King's College London, and has worked at Fantastic Man, The Guardian, GQ and The Times, as well as writing for titles such as British Vogue, The Face and i-D.
