Tintype is pleased to present NOT HER REAL NAME, Alice Walton's second solo-show at the gallery.
Alice Walton makes sculptural installations constructed to re-present images alongside geometric forms. Walton's use of found images creates a frisson of recognition in which familiar works are configured as part of a larger experiment in visual language. With a quiet theatricality, the images are refracted and distorted stagings of concealment and revelation.
