This exhibition marks the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War and explores the role of women in the Women's Land Army and Munitions. The exhibition features paintings by Randolph Schwabe, Hilda Carline and Richard Carline, on loan from the Imperial War Museum, the Tate and Ferens Art Gallery, Hull. In addition there are important works by Stanley Spencer from the Otter Gallery's permanent collection on display.
