Berlin-based Marie Von Heyl was awarded 2nd prize in 2013 for her work Utopia. She will be talking about her practice with a focus on drawing as performance. An interest in interiors and mundane objects is central to her practice and her work is an attempt to catch them I the act of transcending their original context - a playful dancing around things.
