Returning to The National Review of Live Art after last year's door-slamming success, 'Flagrante Delicto', Newcastle based artist Claire premiere's her new durational performance work, 'ausländer', at this year's National Review. In a break from her solo work, 'ausländer' is devised as a group performance in which she is joined by London based artist Jordan McKenzie and the singer Feline Lang from Berlin.

For three hours, Jordan McKenzie will ascend and descend a series of four interconnected stairs with Feline Lang singing from the middle of the structure and Claire herself drawing a curtain around them, alternately concealing and revealing the performance.
