Poetry and Critical Discussion

About

To accompany Canan Tolon's retrospective and the showing of the futur imparfait ink drawings at Parasol unit, this event will examine 'imperfect futures' through a combination of poetry and critical discussion on urbanism, repetition, the absurd and common space. Sean Bonney is the author of poetry books which include Happiness: Poems After Rimbaud (Unkant), The Commons (Openned), Baudelaire in English (Veer Books) and Blade Pitch Control Unit (Salt). Owen Hatherley is the author of Militant Modernism (Zero Books), A Guide to the New Ruins of Great Britain and A New Kind of Bleak (both Verso), and Uncommon (Zero Books), about the pop group Pulp. He writes regularly for the Guardian on architecture. This event is presented by Intercapillary Places. Please note: unfortunately due to the installation of this exhibition, this event does not have wheelchair access.
