BERNARD CHAUCHET CONTEMPORARY ART is proud to present its latest exhibition: Contemporary French Masters. This selling exhibition of five of today’s most prominent painters in France will be placed under the patronage of H.E Monsieur Bernard Emie, French ambassador to the United Kingdom.
It is the first time the French embassy is kindly lending its patronage to an art exhibition in a gallery. Two of the painters represented (Jean Le Gac/Anonymous and Philippe Pradalié) are amongst the most influential artists in France of the late 20th century, through their association with the New Figuration and Narrative Art mouvements, and their relationship with Cartier Bresson and the cinema. Three of a younger generation (Olivier Camen, Eric Pradalié and Topolino), exhibit their unique vision and style, but expressed in more contemporary media.
Bernard Chauchet Contemporary Art brings to London the best of today’s French art scene. The gallery presents a combination of the best established painters of the 20th and 21st centuries, alongside a younger up and coming generation. The gallery seeks not only to promote these artists but to bring them into contact with the viewing public and avid contemporary collectors. This has proven to be a deep vein of new ideas and creativity for them while sustaining continuing collector enthusiasm for beautiful works of art.
