Assemblage of wood and acrylic skin by Jessica Grace Dally
Part of an on-going series looking at the fundamental elements of painting, Dally’s beautiful assemblages reduce the key elements of a painting down to wood, paint, canvas threads or nails, By exploring their properties her work aims to change the relationship between construction and subject. We see what a painting is made of, and are surprised by the graceful simplicity.
