About

Her artworks are a crossovers of sculptures and installations that trigger an interaction of viewers and passersby with socio-spatial configurations. Amina has showed her work nationally and internationally, including Museum of Modern Art (Algiers), Cornerhouse (Great Britain), Museum of Contemporary Art (Leon), Royal Hibernian Academy (Dublin) and the National Museum of Carthage (Tunisia). Anthony Downey holds a Ph.D from Goldsmiths College and sits on the Editorial Board of Third Text, acts as a Consulting Editor for Open Space (Vienna), and edits Ibraaz, the latter a research forum on the Middle East and North Africa (www.ibraaz.org). He is the Programme Director for the MA in Contemporary Art at Sotheby's Institute of Art, London.
