Square Art Projects is pleased to announce that it will be taking part at Artlicks Weekend 2013, with Vereda Tropical: a pop-up exhibition of video art screened inside a transit van.
Vereda Tropical brings together four Venezuelan artists who centre their practice on video and the exploration of narrative and storytelling. The artists are: Deborah Castillo, Jaime Castro Oroztegui, Jorge Domínguez Dubuc and Bernardita Rakos.
In keeping with Square’s maxim of using unique non-gallery spaces, the work is to be screened inside a specially adapted transit van where the passers-by can experience the exhibition by simply looking into the space from the street.
The van will be parked on Amersham Vale, in front of the The Old Police Station art centre.
