Women by Gabriel Moreno
The sensuality and elegance of the graphics, black lines, ink and watercolour, of a mouth, a neckline, a curve of a hip: this is what forms the basis of both Moreno's personal and commercial career as an illustrator. The exhibition 'Women' emerged from Moreno's need to create truly free personal work: all these elements of sensuality confluence with a meticulous attention for detail, however untethered.
For this exhibition, Moreno returned to his former role as an artist and engraver, which was the prelude to his career as an illustrator and the period in which he developed his aesthetic style.
"But above all", Moreno says, "this exhibition is about women, which constitutes 150% of my work."
