This Summer Sock Gallery is hosting its second Open Exhibition, featuring 2D work in a broad range of mediums. The Open Exhibition offers a wonderful opportunity to behold an array of local talent, from both adults and young people, professional and amateur artists. We were delighted with the response this year, with a total of 350 pieces being submitted. The independent judging panel selected 156 pieces to be exhibited, and then chose the winning piece for the Over 18s Category and the Young Persons Category. The winners have now been announced- Adult Category Winner: Olivier Marc Thomas Leger Young Persons Category Winner: Finn Bhandari Highly commended award: Linda Sharman We are also running a People's Choice Award until the close of the exhibition, where you can vote for your favourite piece, so pop in soon and get voting! The Open Exhibition is on display at Sock Gallery until 3rd September 2013.
