ARTZU Gallery is celebrating the arrival of the heart warming and spirited paintings of Andrew Hunt. Andrew has been painting for over 18 years with work twice selected for The BP National Portrait Award. “My figurative pieces are drawn from a subtle characterisation of Northern life, maintaining a delicate balance of being neither too twee nor gratuitously working class and too gritty. Using a unique aesthetic they transform these romantic narratives of the every-man into the epic.
