Martin Kippenberger Published A Lot Of Books

Before his death Martin Kippenburger published 149 different artist's books. From his days of running a punk music cafe in Berlin until his unexpected heart attack (probably brought on from excessive drinking) in 1996, a huge variety of brochures, thick books, exhibition catalogues and tomes of reproduced drawings from his famous stationery drawings on hotel letterheads were published. Summerhall will be exhibiting a selection of these publications along with some other ephemera by Kippenberger — all taken from the Heart Fine Art collection.
