We're off to Margate beach to support The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Sand Castle Challenge. Whether you are a budding young sandcastle designer or someone with a little more experience and whether you form a team or fly solo, this will be your chance to show off your sandcastle making skills. Bring along a bucket and spade and be a part of the Sandcastle Challenge. Prize categories include: — Tallest Sand Structure (Betteridge & Milsom Prize) — Most Technically Daring (Hornby Prize) — Life's a Beach (Joss Bay Surf School Prize) — Curiosity (Turner Contemporary Prize) — Mayor's Prize Judging starts from 2.30pm — winners to be announced at 3pm The challenge is FREE.
