About

Make a small nature based scene alongside artist Melanie Tomlinson using templates as a starting point, which can be embellished and decorated with soft metal foils that Melanie has pre-printed. Beautiful papers and found objects like twigs can be gilded in gold or silver leaf. Each participant will take home a low relief collage, which can be framed or hung on a wall. The artworks created can be as complex or as simple as each participant wishes. This workshop will run from 11pm - 4.30 pm and is open to all abilities. Artist Melanie Tomlinson works with illustration and metal to create vibrant and intensely detailed sculptures and three-dimensional dioramas, which reflect her deep love and passion for nature.
