About
Fitzrovia - an area known historically for its artist communities - has in recent years become home to many cutting edge galleries and is a new and expanding hub for visual arts in London. Following in the footsteps of many other successful late opening initiatives, Fitzrovia Lates launched on Thursday 28 June 2012 with over 25 galleries in the area open until 9pm.
Every month over 25 galleries based in Fitzrovia participate in the scheme, giving visitors to the area the opportunity to view art after hours and attend special artist talks, performance and curator tours programmed especially for Fitzrovia Lates.
