About

CROSSOVERS 23rd May - 2nd June The Brick Lane Gallery E16SA Preview: Wednesday 22 May 6pm-8.30pm SARAH BEETSON | MUNIR EISA | SERGIO DEL GIUDICE | GALLO | MICHAEL DAVIS | AMà‰LIE BEAUDROIT | IGOR DONTSOV | JOHN DEAN | SHANEEN ROSEWARNE COX | ALEXANDRE Là‰ONORE We are excited to announce another bright and varied Art in Mind exhibition, Crossovers. This exhibition will feature the misty and wonderful work of Amelie beaudroit, the illustrations of re-invented actors in character by Australian based repeat exhibitor, Sarah Beetson and the bright and busy mixed media works of Alexandre Leonore. Igor Dontsov will be exhibiting three of his bright works showing us how you can dilute and embellish daily urban life and turn it into a colorful rainbow. Both John Dean and Shaneen Rosewarne Cox will be exhibiting photography. Shaneen's works include images from a series focussing on the identity and journey of a bola hat whilst John Dean's works are digitally manipulated to take on fantasy and the dreamlike. Bright and edgy works are to be included by Sergio Del Giudice. Del Giudice works from the spontaneity and reflection of himself and others, legitimizing the place of the artist, art, and hope, as the ideal space for the human. Gallo's work shows us the boldness and playfulness of her style and content. Black backdrops and outline with a cartoon like presence is what can be expected. Munir Eisa will be exhibiting his detailed and carefully crafted interiors and exteriors with a flavour of his extensive travels and other worldliness. Michael Davis shows his very contemporary styled paintings with hero's and villains. British gas features in these, however the side on which they are on can be determined by the viewer. We are excited to bring these eclectic contemporary artists together in an exhibition which will have something for everyone to enjoy.
