About

As part of a series of evening events, we are pleased to welcome printmaker Laura Boswell to the gallery to demonstrate some of her printmaking techniques and to talk about her work. Laura is a printmaker based in Buckinghamshire and her work focuses on the rural and coastal landscape. She works with linocut and traditional Japanese watercolour woodblock. After a career in business, Laura returned to printmaking in 2005. She has work in the National Collection of Wales and the House of Lords and was selected in 2009 as the British artist to study woodblock printmaking in Japan under master printers and wood carvers. She will be discussing her work, her methods and revealing some of the tools and techniques that she uses to create her prints. There will opportunities to talk to Laura and view a large selection of her work. This is a free event, but booking is essential due to limited space. Please see our website for details
