In recognition of his lifetime contribution to the art world, Bath Contemporary is proud to present the first major retrospective in the South West by acclaimed artist Endré Roder. Endré's female figures exert a sense of strength and arresting beauty while subtly harbouring something of the unattainable. Averted eyes fall just beneath the viewers gaze; each woman looking as if in possession of a secret. Graceful in their posture and positioned amongst decorative and often floral detail, each figure bears something of the celestial. Endré exhibits internationally and his work can be found in many public and private collections.
