Summer Workshop - 1 day course

About

Workshop led by Jo Naden RBSA A day to immerse yourself in the processes of drawing. The emphasis will be on developing skills in seeing and feeling through the mediums of pencil and ink. Taking natural forms as the subject matter, the first exercises will engage the ‘objective eye' by mapping what we see using pencil. The second exercises will help us experience the rhythmical qualities of line using brushes and inks. The final exercises will provide an opportunity to bring both of these skills together in a drawing. This workshop is suitable for all abilities and could provide new sources of inspiration for experienced drawers. Booking essential: To book please contact the gallery on 0121 236 4353. Payment can be made in cash or by card or cheque. Cheques are to be made payable to RBSA. Places are limited to 10 students per workshop. Allocation will take place on a first come first served basis, subject to receipt of full non-transferable and non-refundable payment. The RBSA Gallery reserves the right to withdraw the course. In this eventuality, you will be notified and fully refunded.
