About

The Revolution Will Not Be Televised is an experimental exhibition which aims to challenge the authorship of its artists through a ‘mash-up'. The mash-up, a common innovation online of consuming content where users find congruences and new insight through overlapping, mixing or mashing together of the works of different artists. With artists egos and ideas clashing, and the outcome unpredictable, will we see new ideas form, and artists have a change of mind? Young and emerging artists showcase works in diverse media for a different kind of art show, which explores collaboration, authorship and the ownership of ideas in the post-digital, post- consumer age. Artist Talk with Jane Harris, Alex March and residency artist James Petrucci, 6-8pm 9th May. Allan Binns | Chris Cawkwell | Amelia Critchlow | Emma Gamble | Chris Green | Fiona Grady | Jane Harris | Alex March | Patrick Mifsud | Katheryn Owens
