An exploration around living, walking and playing inside and out of National Parks in The Empty Shop on the corner of Bogie Street and New Street, Huntly. Following the Slow Marathon on the 20th April 2012 which leads from Upper Cabarch to the town of Huntly in Aberdeenshire, we will hold a discussion event to celebrate the 175th birthday of the great Scottish-born American naturalist, author, and early advocate of preservation of wilderness, John Muir. The event will include invited speakers from the arts, campaigners and environmental sciences.
