Battle Abbey, East Sussex

4PLAY opens Saturday 6th April 2013 and is one of the inaugural exhibitions to take place at The 1066 Art Academy, Battle.

The artwork to be exhibited has been bespoke created by four invited female artists as a unique response to the Academy's education space and the private collection of Academy Patron Donald Riley.

Selected by Pure Arts Group for their diverse art practice, sculptor Yulia Podolska, multi media installation artist Ros Barker, performance artist Jenny Edbrooke and photographer Beatrice Lacey were introduced to each other and invited to "play, create and evolve" artwork in response to this new and exciting art education space located within the beautiful and historic town of Battle.
