Kaith Barrell supports Alzheimer’s Society

An introduction to Keith Barrell, local Kent artist.

Keith has worked in Education, particularly Art Education all his life and achieved a professional career with Kent Educational Authority (KCC) and the examining board Edexcel.

Keith’s Alzheimer’s, diagnosed in 2010, has not prevented him from enjoying creating art and he spends a few hours each day working in his studio.

Born in Rochdale in 1939 (74 years old), Keith’s career took him to various places around the world promoting Art Education.

Keith’s Art Exhibition will contain a retrospective look at some of his earlier works of Art prior to his diagnoses together with new pieces created since.

The Art will be for sale and an original canvas picture will be on offer as a raffle prize with all the money raised being donated to the Alzheimer’s Society for their research projects and care of those who suffer from Alzheimer’s.
