Not Dressed for Conquering - Ines Doujak's Loomshuttles/Warpaths

Austrian artist Ines Doujak's two-year research into the textile culture of the Andes has resulted in an eccentric archive, presented here in her UK debut. The exhibition is curated by Ruth Noack, Head of the Curating Contemporary Art programme at the RCA in cooperation with CCA students. The exhibition is part of MeLa European Museums in an age of migrations, a four-year research project funded by the European Commission under the Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities Program. A performance by Doujak ' An Investigator, an Indian Automat and a Puppet Visit the RCA ' takes place at 3pm on 17 March.
