Walk On brings together a diverse group of artists who undertake journeys on foot as a means to creating work.
About
The act of walking can serve many different purposes: negotiating everyday life, as a means to an end, or purely as an exercise to free up our imagination.'Walk On' brings together artists who make works by undertaking a journey on foot, and this exhibition shows how walking has been the inspiration for artists over decades. Whether making a mark on the landscape itself or mapping and tracing daily journeys, the works in the exhibition share a common and simple starting point: the act of taking a walk.
