The first exhibition of the year at the Harrison Lord Gallery is a stunning mix of talented artists expressing the diverse colour and imagery of the seasons.

Headlined by one of the gallery’s favourite artists Mike Jones, this exhibition brings together Jones’ vibrant, impressionistic landscapes. Jones is exhibiting up to 17 new pieces, with their seemingly effortless brushstrokes, accomplished use of light and shadow, and warm colour palette.
Standing alongside are 10 beautiful new original pieces from Yorkshire artist John Connolly. Connolly’s work is very popular in the gallery and his paintings have sold to collectors in the UK, Europe, America, Australia and the Middle East. His new work is a varied collection from sunny warm meadows, to towering mountains and eerie woodland scenes.
Steve McLoughlin’s vast and atmospheric beach scenes are well worth viewing in person. His palette of pastels and picturesque imagery evoke a deep rooted charm yet still present current contemporary art. In contrast to this is newcomer to the gallery Stuart Ellis and his vivid abstract representation of the landscape.
The gallery will also have new work from popular Halifax watercolourist Paul Talbot - Greaves, Julian Mason, and Clare Haley.
