Breaking News: Memoirs of A Flâneur
A site-specific project based in London, by artist Jabulani Maseko. The artist spent the year of 2012 collecting the Evening Standard newspaper and the bills (posters), which are used to announce the headlines of the day. With this material he has created large-scale posters, which reorganise the contents of the original bills, and offer-up alternative meanings.
The exhibition-space of Testbed will be transformed using this rescued material, to create an engaging experience.
This is a compilation of meticulously cut paper, and experimental collage.
