NOTTINGHAM FESTIVAL OF MIDDLE EASTERN ARTS AND CULTURE!

An award-winning Egyptian band, flying into the country for this event only, headlines Ishraqah, a festival celebrating Middle Eastern Arts and Culture at New Art Exchange, Nottingham.

This FREE event will include a Guinness World Record Holding Tanoura dancer, Arabian Nights inspired story-telling, belly dancing, henna tattooing, jewellery making, face painting, and a gallery tour of Realism in Rawiya - a presentation of the first all-female photographic collective to emerge from the Middle East: Rawiya - conducted by three of the photographers from the collective: Dalia Khamissy (flying in from Lebanon), Tamara Abdul (flying in from Beirut) and Myriam Abdelaziz (flying in from Cairo).
