Sweet 'Art launches with SHOW #1 ART, PERFORMANCES, FILMS and FREEBIES!!! Corrina Eastwood and Charlotte Meddings, two women who have a wealth of experience of working in the arts for many years, saw a gap in the art market - tired of seeing the same ideas recycled over and over they founded Sweet 'Art Collective, a pop-up gallery and online resource dedicated to the promotion of artists at all levels of their career through the delivery of carefully curated site specific exhibitions and live art events. Sweet 'Art believes in art that is thought provoking, intelligent, and challenging in its consideration of both aesthetic and concept. Sweet 'Art launches with it's first exhibition SHOW#1 in aid of International Women's Day at The Crypt Gallery, London. Bringing together over thirty exceptional international artists of different disciplines. SHOW#1 explores the ideas of what it is to be a woman today, our role in today's society, the celebration and study of the female form, feminism and female issues. Through the visual narratives on offer we are given a glimpse into the minds and lives of a group of exceptional artists, both male and female whose work is held together by a common theme.
