About

Step behind the scenes and get a glimpse of the thinking motivating the digital world's greatest artists, thinkers and doers with the Lighthouse Monthly Talks. Science broadcaster and writer, Dr Adam Rutherford, is our February speaker. Lighthouse presents a talk by renowned science writer, Adam Rutherford. Currently working for Nature, Rutherford is one of the UK's outstanding science communicators. Rutherford's talk launches the residency at Lighthouse by David Blandy, who will work with Rutherford on Helix, an interactive project exploring the discovery of DNA. The residency will take place during the Brighton Science Festival 2013 where Rutherford and Blandy will explore the science and ideas that lef to the discovery of DNA, and how this might develop into a multi-narrative, interactive artwork.
