'Reyt in t'Face' group exhibition at Heartbeat‏ 

Heartbeat Gallery is pleased to announce "Reyt in t'Face" a group exhibition featuring the works of Sheffield artists Saskia Palmer, Lyn Hodnett, Rocket01, Karin Hessenberg and Lucy Allen.

The exhibition explores modern and contemporary practices in the genre of portraiture. The five art-ists broaden the scope of traditional portraiture by proposing the human face and form as a starting point to examine and subvert concepts of identity, history, popular culture and cultural archetypes.
