We are Colab.
Typical of Colab we will be making work on site in a residency-like fashion. Untypical of Colab, we will be open to the public throughout the duration of the process.
An exhibition in progress, Colab 5. will open at 10am on Thursday morning with the artists bringing in the raw materials for the pieces that will be made for the show.
This will give viewers a chance to see the work and curation develop as we produce the exhibition on site, culminating in the private view on Sunday 1pm-3pm, with all the work
in place. The show closes after the private view, creating an exhibition backwards.
We will also be hosting a discussion about Colab on the evening of the first day, with the objects and tools we will be working with in place.
Sunday's private view will have drink and food.
Timetable:
Thurs 6th December: Open 10am-8pm
Discussion 7pm-8pm
Fri 7th December: Open 10am - 5pm
Saturday 8th December: Open 10am - 5pm
Sunday 9th December: Open 10am - 3pm
PV 1pm - 3pm
