Poppy Sebire is delighted to present a new series of collages and Veg Prints by Georgie Hopton, installed in a wallpapered booth designed and printed by the artist.
The string, wool and printed paper collages of flowers function simultaneously as both drawing and relief. Inspired by the sculptural and modernist qualities of the flower, the artist reworks their angles and curves on the paper as an embroiderer might on a piece of cloth.
