You will find out about many aspects of the industry from the role of the picture researcher through to terms and conditions of image use, administration and record keeping, copyright law and model releases. You'll also cover the importance of visual image, authenticity and picture sources, captions, reproduction fees for picture use. Other specific topics include negotiating and clearing rights and the work of BAPLA and the PRA. The course is suitable to anyone involved in sourcing and supplying images for any publications.
