RESIDENCIES OPEN STUDIO WEEKENDEmanuel Almborg, Marina Camargo and Alberto Lezaca
14 December 2012 - 15th December 2012
Current residency artists Emanuel Almborg, Marina Camargo and Alberto Lezaca* conclude their residencies by opening their studios to the public, giving visitors a unique opportunity to meet with them and explore the work they have produced during their time in London.
EVENTS HAPPENING OVER THE OPEN STUDIO WEEKEND:
INSTALLATION: Folded Landscape
FRIDAY 14 DECEMBER

Looped screening throughout the evening
Alberto Lezaca presents a video installation that explores the formal language shared by art and architecture. Inspired by the artist's research on the now defunct penguin pool at London Zoo designed by Berthold Lubetkin in 1933, Folded Landscape questions the principle that form must always follow function in modern architecture and design.
