George Barberà‚ (born Georgetown, Guyana, 1958)à‚ has produced video work in many genres and configurations since studying at St. Martins School of Art and the Slade.à‚  In the 1980's he started with Scratch Video" and worked through monologues and slacker adjusted adverts towards participatory pieces like his international ‘Shouting Match' series and essay works like ‘Reality Check' (2012), first screened last month at the South London Gallery.
