The programme includes the UK premier of Kode9, MFO and Ms Haptic's live reworking of the late Chris Marker's iconic time travel film essay, La Jetée; Raime's (Blackest Ever Black) new live AV performance heading up an evening of subterranean experiments with the blueprints of club music which also features the acclaimed Emptyset project and Bristol's Bugbrand; the world premier of acclaimed cut up artist Vicki Bennett's first feature-length film The Zone, introduced by the artist, which draws out the strange parallels between two cinematic journeys into the dream zone, Tarkovsky's Stalker and The Wizard of Oz; a new cinematic live performance from artist Tai Shani for an audience wearing surround headphones; Aura Satz's new performance for 16mm, Reubens Tube (an antiquated flame-based sound-wave projector) and live musicians, soon to debut at the Tate Oil Tanks; powerful improvised elecronics from cult electronic / noise / improv artists Russell Haswell (UK) and Kevin Drumm (USA)… Friday 26 October, 7.30pm RUSSELL HASWELL performs his OSCILLOGRAPHICS SET, with KEVIN DRUMM & THOMAS ANKERSMIT. Thursday 1 November, 8pm KODE9, MFO & MS. HAPTIC perform HER GHOST: AN HOMAGE TO CHRIS MARKER'S LA JETà‰E, AURA SATZ performs IN AND OUT OF SYNCH & BEN RUSSELL 16mm films TRYPPS 1-7 are projected. Friday 2 November, 7.30pm TAI SHANI performs AND OF THE BRIMMING FREEZE FRAME & VICKI BENNETT [PEOPLE LIKE US] introduces THE ZONE. Saturday 3 November, 8pm RAIME, EMPTYSET & BUGBRAND perform live.
