About
Jo Golesworthy was born in Devon in1962; she studied at Exeter College of Art & Design, Brighton Polytechnic and the Portland Sculpture & Quarry Trust.Golesworthy has exhibited with; the St Ives Society of Artists; Thelma Hulbert Gallery, Honiton; South West Academy and the National Gallery of Lyme Regis. Her work is in the permanent collection of the RD&E Hospital, Exeter and the University of Exeter. She has commissioned pieces in private collections through out the UK and Europe.
Her unique sandstone sculptures are derived from images of pollen as revealed by a Scanning Electron Microscope.
Robert Jennison studied at the West of England College of Art, Bristol. He taught Art in secondary schools in Gloucestershire and Bristol until 1965 when he joined the staff of St Luke?s College, Exeter as Lecturer in Art Education and Art History. During the 1980s he lectured on 20th Century British Art for the Beloit College USA Summer School in Britain. Jennison left teaching in 1984.
He has exhibited paintings, prints and photographs regularly since 1961, with solo shows in London, Milan, Belfast, Bristol and Exeter. He is a member of the Royal West of England Academy and the Royal Ulster Academy in Belfast. His work is represented in public and private collections in Europe, Canada and the USA. He lives in East Devon.
