Mary Mabbutt

Mary Mabbutt was born in Luton and studied at Luton School of Art, Loughborough College of Art & Design and the Royal Academy Schools. She has lived in Falmouth since 1979. Mabbutt has exhibited widely; London solo exhibitions include; New Grafton Gallery; Paton Gallery and Russell Gallery. Group exhibitions include; Royal Academy Summer Shows; John Player Portrait Award and the National Portrait Gallery. She has won awards from; John Moore's Liverpool; South West Arts and Flowers Central, Cork Street. Her work is held in a number of public and private collections, including Arts Council Great Britain and Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
