A week of printing taster sessions for children including relief printing, screen printing, printing on fabric and ‘make your own' print book. Book courses individually or join us for the week and on Friday create a book out of all your efforts. This week provides an opportunity for children to try their hand at a number of different techniques in a fun and friendly environment. Reduction Lino Print, Kerry Day Monday 29 October, 10am-1pm, Produce multi-coloured linoprints with just one block. Experiment with using different materials as a printing block to build tone and texture. 11+years, £15. Drypoint, Jo Hounsome Tuesday 30 October, 10am-1pm, Learn how to use this contemporary medium of plastic drypoint — a fantastic, fun and easy way to create beautiful prints. 11+years. £15. Print with Anything, Maria Bowers Wednesday 31 October, 10am-12, A fun way to print without a press using everyday household objects and water based washable ink to make prints on paper. Try printing with everything from potatoes to bottle tops and let your imagination run wild. 8-11 years. £10. Hit and Run Screenprinting, Chitra Merchant Thursday 1 November, 10am-1pm, Learn how to make exciting multi-coloured screenprints using up to three colour combinations. 11+years. £15. Make your own Print Book, Gemma Wright Friday 2 November, 10am-1pm, Combine a number of prints into one book. Either produce new prints on the day or combine your favourite pieces from the week into one multi-coloured keepsake. 11+years. £15.
