Bringing sustainability to vivid life through the creative use of old materials, unusual applications of new techniques and exploring the borders where design meets fine art and craft. The exhibition includes furniture constructed of reclaimed materials, a tactile installation, parquet flooring made from old books and a âLiving Brick' wall. From the eminently functional to the conceptually challenging to the alternatively aesthetic, there's sure to be something here to interest everyone. Many works are for sale.
The works have been selected from open submissions by a panel of industry experts:
Kate Goldsworthy, Central St Martins College of Art & Design
Helen Sloan, Director of SCAN
Alastair Swanwick, Executive Director of Innovate Product Design
Hannah Woodhams, Chair of Wiltshire Design Network
