Half-term workshop
Over a period of three afternoons at the gallery the project room will become a publishing house for the creation of a Pump House Gallery Fanzine. Participants will create their own page for the magazine inspired by the exhibition Beauty is the First Test, but also we hope will bring their own creative ideas to the project from cartoon drawing to song writing. You will get the chance to be hands on with a variety of methods including collage, mono printing, photography, drawing and photoshop. Outcomes from the Alternative Cross Stitch workshop on Saturday 3 November will also form the "advertising pages" of the Fanzine.
Everyone who contributed to the project will receive a printed copy of the Fanzine, it will be available to purchase (at cost price) from the gallery throughout Beauty is the First Test exhibition and available to view online.
