To celebrate the exhibition of the newly conserved 'Venus and Adonis' from Titian's workshop. This course gives insight into the work of the great Venetian painter. Explore the different approaches to painting in Florence and Venice and learn Renaissance theories of light and colour as well as the historical techniques of egg tempera and oil painting on surfaces such as gesso panel and linen.
