NWN presents Acts of Legacy at Tate Britain

About

New Work Network is programming an evening of performances, films, installation, music and debate exploring issues of value, sustainability, memory and legacy of experimental art practices from the past. This is a free event that will be hosted by Hunt & Darton and Richard Layzell, and includes the screening of the ‘Mixing It Up- An Intergenerational Perspective‘ films and work by artists Fiona Templeton alongside an intergenerational group of performers, artists, writers, curators, and people who have watched something being done; Jordan McKenzie and Aaron Williamson; Ellie Harrison; Barby Asante and a debate facilitated by The Saturday Arts Club. During the event, NWN will present the last film in the series ‘Mixing It Up‘: a dialogue between Aaron Williamson and Katharine Meynell. Late at Tate Britain is a bi-monthly programme of talks, film, music, performance, alternative tours of the Collection and panel discussions. The event is supported by Arts Council England, Tate Britain and Artquest.
