About
Sculpture Slam is a brilliant opportunity to listen to each of the ten RBS Bursary Award winners give an illustrated five minute insight into their practice. The galleries will be open from 6.30 pm so that you can see the exhibition of their work and the talks will begin at 7 pm. There will opportunity at the end to ask questions and discuss the work on show with the artists.The Bursary Awards are designed to benefit sculptors' in the early stages of their careers by providing opportunities and support enabling them to make the transition to a full and successful professional practice. This includes free membership to RBS for two years, opportunities to exhibit, present talks, apply for residencies, participate in training seminars, attend RBS events and access the unique RBS mentoring scheme.
